Fine-grained time period settings for reports and SLAs

It should be possible to set time periods for reports and SLAs much more fine-grained, e.g.,

- define "yearly" or "all n months" as SLA period,
- create report all n months,
- consider the last n months in a report.

Currently, it is possible to select a time range in various pages/views, to display data. E.g. in a report, one may consider values of this month and values of last month.
Usually, a report is generated, if the considered month has ended. This leads to a problem: The considered month is the last month. But the month to compare the values with, is the forelast month.

To meet the requirements, it's needed to consider a specific amount month in the past. E.g. 2 months back.

"n" month would be really helpfull for views/reports/availability/capacity management and would save a lot of time.

We suggest, dont make it only for one year and especially not only for reports/SLA
As Jens already wrote, 3 month and there will be another one asking for 6 month or 24 month. Make it more flexible in general. And implement it everywhere, not only into the reporting area as a filter/option

Oh yes! That would be great. Time periods like 35 days or 400 days back no one really needs.. ;)

Currently, there is no option in the CMK 2.2.0 GUI to create reports on a quarterly basis.
Especially from the service management point of view, this is a frequently requested feature.

We recommend not limit and request only for reports. Implement it for all parts of CMK - for example reports/availability(sla)/capacity management/views...
