Make renaming hostname work with automatic agent updater

provide a mechanism that when you rename a host in checkmk the registration of the automatic agent updater does not get lost but is maintained.

Searching the option to downvote this idea... ;-)

Renaming is done at CMK site and registration is renamed, too. Problem is, the agent itself still thinks it's registered with the "old" name. And as we cannot change things at the agent from external this will not work at all...

Why not use a UUID for registration instead of the hostname. That hostnames can change over time is known now for a long time ;-)
