Allow title of views/dashboards to change using URL parameters and allow for "parameter attachment"
We create a lot of filters using URL parameters that used in bookmarks. For example the same dashboard can be used 10 times, but for different filters.
However if we link to the build-in Linux dashboard the title will always be "Linux hosts". We would like to attach a URL parameters, like "title=My dashboard for use case X" instead so the end user knows what dashboard he looks at.
Here it would also be nice if the bookmark it selves could change color or be bold or something else to illustrate that you are looking at a bookmark item.
On the same topic it would be useful if the build-in dashboards could honor the filters added as URL parameters. For example if I create a bookmark to the Linux dashboard and include a WATO folder filter limiting the dashboard to only show hosts in a specific WATO folder
When I click on the "Services : OK" snippet in the Dashboard I will do a service search for ALL hosts (not the ones in my dashboard) - Instead of 4 hosts I might see 100...

Daniel RoettgermannHi Andy
https://features.checkmk.com/suggestions/315902/allow-predefined-filter-in-dashboardsviews-to-enable-users-to-filter-faster-and-
Would you agree that your request can be merged?
As it feels like 80% of your request can be done by the filter? And I cant imagine that you want to create (and maintain!) so many dashboards, with more or less the same content, only dofference is the topic - if I understand you correct?
Cheers

AndyHi Daniel,
I don't think they are the same topic. We want the Dashboards to dynamically change topic based on a URL parameter. We want to have as less dashboards as we must have. But we have a quite large installation.
Filters needs to be applied after you load the dashboard, so lets say we have 1000 servers and the Dashboard needs to use live status to connect to all these and then afterwards you can apply a filter.
In our case filters are done based on host labels, and we have thousands of them. In our case we would programatically create bookmarks for these so no real pain. (But unfortunate that the API does not allow you to do this) -
