Allow time based state escalation for problematic services
Sometimes a service becomes WARN and stays for a long time in this state. As an administrator, I would benefit from a functionality, that allows changing the state from WARN to CRIT after a specific amount of time. This is, because it allows a more fine granular escalation process.

Robert SanderYou can create a view on services that is filtered by "Last service state change" where you only show older problems.
This could be inspected regularily or even automatically (via API). -

Marcel Arentz AdminThat's correct, but probably not addressing the original issue. The original source wants to have a mechanism to escalate things more granularly. This could be done by the implementation of recurring notifications together with the suppression of the first n occurrences. Or by a defined state change after a specific amount of time.

Sven Rubenbtw: i would need a rule base state change anyways … for example: RDS UPD (Remote Desktop Services User Profile Disks): they are mounted under „C:\Users\“ when the user logs in and unmounted at the logoff .. i helped myself with „Disabled Service Ruleset“ … but would be better to just change their state from UNKN to OK when not mounted then actualy getting no warnings when they get filled up because the service is disabled … would be the same with USB connected cold backup disks … should be considered as OK when absend but still monitored when present
