Increase maximum SNMP Timeout
We do monitor several QNAP Systems, which have a very slow responding SNMP Daemon. Sometimes the SNMP Bulkwalk takes much longer than the maximum threshold for SNMP Timeouts of 60 seconds.
This produces many false positive warnings and critical, which is very annoying.

Thomas Lippert AdminThe rule is called "Fetch intervals for SNMP sections" and is set to 1 minute. This can be changed to e.g. 5 minutes to avoid this issue.
I will close the request -

Thomas Lippert AdminHave you tried to increase the fetch interval to reduce the load on the SNMP demon?
In general, this reads more like a support issue than a feature request. Using the Checkmk forum to discuss this makes more sense. -

AlexHi Christoph,
very certainly you have a configuration issue. Such a large timeout for a SINGLE(!) query doesn't make sense.
Please read https://checkmk.com/blog/snmp-troubleshooting, especially the "Timing is everything" & "Take it slowly..." sections.
