Ringo HartmannPlease note that with SemVer, the third number (PATCH) "MUST be incremented if only backward compatible bug fixes are introduced." However, Checkmk versions possibly include a) backward incompatible changes and b) new features.
Thus, simply switching from 2.1.0p40 to 2.1.40 violates SemVer and might be a bad decision. -

Robert SanderThen we get a new major release (3.x, 4.x) each year instead of 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 and minor releases in between. Fine with me.
