Appliance preload Firmware and Checkmk Version for less Datavolume

i believe, that the Update via Commandline eill not be realised :-( Maybe this idea finds aome aproach.
Upload the Update firmware and version Files to the Appliance filesystem and use them in the Webconf for the updating process.
Maybe there are some OS Upgrades which will not support this, but the major updates should have support for this.
We have many customer sites with appliances. And normaly the web interface tunneld to home. with such a option we could massiv decrease the needed time to upload the files. one time over WAN and to the customer appliances only in the local network.
Otherwise we bring the files over WAN to every Appliance each!
