Event Rule criteria "Host Tags"

In the Event Rule it is possible to set a matching criteria for the host name "Match host".
We would appreciate the possibility to use the "host tag" like in the other type of rules.

In case of the Event Console, the matching criteria refer to the content of the received messages. The host tags defined in Checkmk are not available in this context. Therefore, we don't see the possibility to implement this request. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there another way of limiting the targets of the matched events other than a rule for each host?

Hi Leandro, most of the matching criteria fields support regular expressions. Would that help in your specific use case?

Why are the tags and labels not allover available? In the IT it is essential to have all pre arranged data available.

A regular expression would not help in our case.
